Although the book is Bible based, one does not have to be a believer to benefit from the wise and practical steps outlined in the book. I found the reflection questions to be especially helpful because they help people see where they’re at right now and how they need to change.
Similarly, the step-by-step plans, called Action Steps, and the Faith in Action sections offer practical steps, enabling readers to put the principles into practice. The list of Bible verses arranged by theme in the index is an extremely valuable resource.
